Anwendungsbeispiel Wälzlager Steering gear for automated guided vehicles (AGVs)

Due to problems with the installation and adjustment of 2 tightened deep groove ball bearings, the customer is looking for a simple and quick to install bearing assembly for the steering mechanism. The installation space should only be changed slightly .

Franke bearing assembly LVA-150-Z, additional lubrication connection offset by 180° (incl. FDA-compliant lubricant). 

With the compact design, the deep groove ball bearings could be replaced almost 1:1 and with only minor design adjustments in a short time. Where previously 2 bearings had to be braced, there is now 1 preloaded bearing assembly. This means a huge time and cost saving for the customer.
